My Story

So far

I was born in Australia. For most of my childhood, I lived in Brisbane. From the age of 4, I showed an interest in playing the piano. This interest flourished into something more, leading my parents to base my schooling and education around this skill. I competed regularly, and was given many opportunities including multiple overseas trips as well as the chance to perform 2 different Concertos. Unfortunately, after obtaining my AMUSA while in grade 11 and then beginning to pursue a bachelor in jazz – I burned out. I realized I was no longer happy simply pursuing music. 

My parents were understanding, but made it clear that I couldn’t just laze around in my room. My options were either to work, or find something new to learn. So I decided to go off to New Zealand to obtain my snowboard instructing certifications. This then led me to Canada where I met the woman who eventually agreed to become my wife.

Since then I have developed a deep love of the mountains and recreational sports. While obtaining a bachelor in Kinesiology, a Certification IV in Fitness, and becoming an RMT. I have explored Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking, Snowboarding, Camping, Fishing, MMA, and more.

My Current Goals

Setting and striving towards clear goals is important for self growth and maintaining motivation. Here are some but not all of mine, which I will touch on in some of my upcoming blogs!

My Current Wellness Goals

Now that I am once more out of school. I am working towards rebuilding a strong base of healthy habits. I will also talk more on how I choose and work on these in future posts. My main focus is on maximizing the quality of my life. Habits I am currently working on Include.

My Adventure: What's Next?

Currently, we are working on building a new baseline. Now that I am once more out of the education system and back to work, we are restructuring our goals, budget, and schedule.

Beyond hoping to once more explore Canada and the world together. We are also once more working on our fitness and health. My personal focus health wise is on improving my cardiovascular health and dietary habits. To work towards this, My wife and I have entered into our first half marathon – and I am working to rebuild my Calisthenic skills.
